I am pondering about sitting

Just listening to pandora and hearing Crowder bust out some great lyrics "Wherever you've been He's been there" Which prompted me to start thinking 1) where am I that He has been and 2) When has he been here?

1) I am a seminary wife trying to fight the worldliness around me...possessions I can't have, things I cannot do, and having circumstances I wish to change

2) when has Jesus been a struggling with wanting new possessions, circumstances to change?
The Lord started whispering to my heart....the Disciples. How many times did they not get it....How many times, Jesus must have been like seriously!? Still, not yet? (I know he was without sin)How many circumstances He wish He would've been able to change.

How comforting....the life of Jesus.....to point us as he did with Martha and Mary all we need to do is sit at His feet. Not possessions of this world or good deeds to earn His favor but to just sit and listen, and obey and delight in HIM! I need to do that more.
