Christmas Hoopla!!

I told myself, I was not going to get behind on updating!! I will upload Christmas pics soon I promise! Until then though lets talk about the chaos that was Christmas. Since being married, a whole 16 months, holidays have offically been the sore subject for Daniel and I. Last year, was just horrible (I won't go into detail) this year we were prepared! I started in November by sending out a Jones Family Iteneray which detailed all the days we have the for vaca and what we were doing with them. Where we were to be each day. It worked really well. Next year though.....more detail. I was sick most of the christmas holiday, thanks to the wonderful Alabama weather. We only brought jackets and sweaters...i don't know why it was december isn't it supposed to be 90 on Christmas day? Letting that go....I am defintely attempting to learn how to love everyone in my new family....which can be a challenge sometimes...but the grace of the Lord is great. We did get good family time..card playing...board games and ofcourse by fabulous nephew who made sure that we knew we weren't ready for children!! Over all an ok Christmas....its hard with the 14 hour trip to feel like the holidays are truly upon us....but know that this is only for a season! Pictures to come!! I promise!
